We launched The Repair Finder last year, in April 2023, and so as we turn one, we wanted to take the opportunity for a little (virtual) celebration and to share our hopes for the year ahead.
The platform lists more than 2,600 repairers across the UK, with over 130 types of items that can be repaired. The most popular searches are:
- Clocks & watches
- Computers & laptops
- Vacuum cleaners
- Toasters
- Furniture
Most of the searches come from London, Buckinghamshire and Surrey — the latter two thanks to being listed on their recycling information websites. However, people across the UK are searching for repairers near them, as you can see on the map below.
